Project Details

The project involved multiple city blocks consisting of multi-family residential unit buildings. The existing NYCHA Smith Houses property is the site of twelve (12) 16-story buildings. The MFS scope of work for the project is associated with to the support of excavation (SOE) and pedestrian phasing for the proposed construction of flood barriers and sump pits at the existing Buildings numbered 1, 2, 4, and 5. The project is part of the restoration associated with Hurricane Sandy Recovery Program.
