MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided professional engineering services in support of the replacement of transfer bridge fender systems in Brooklyn, NY at the 65th St. Rail Yard, and reconstruction of Transfer Bridge No. 10 in Greenville Yards, Jersey City, NJ.

MFS was retained by Trevcon Construction Co. Inc. (Trevcon) to perform structural engineering services. Specifically, MFS’ structural services included design and construction sequences for the installation of EFCO shoring structural posts for four transfer bridge counterweights. MFS’ structural team reviewed existing drawings and submitted construction drawings, typical sections, and construction notes with support calculations to the Client. Construction administration was provided throughout the construction phase.
