Project Details

The team captured high-resolution aerial imagery and compiled 1”=30’ topographic mapping with 1’ contours and a digital terrain model. All mapping followed NJDOT CAD standards. Control surveys were established using GNSS RTN and Leica SmartNET, tied to NAD 83(2011) and NAVD 88. A Survey Control Report was prepared in accordance with NJDOT Surveying Manual Standard Article 44 and was signed and sealed by a licensed New Jersey surveyor.

Field crews surveyed visible drainage structures for hydrologic and hydraulic analysis. They obtained inverts, pipe sizes, material type and pipe depths for all drainage structures. Right-of-way efforts included obtaining and analyzing roadway alignments, deeds, and filed maps. MFS recovered existing monumentation, re-established roadway alignments and ROW, and prepared right-of-way maps including ETMs, GPPMs, IPMs, and parcel descriptions. All ROW mapping adhered to NJ Map Filing Law and NJDOT Surveying Manual Standards, including Articles 44 and 51.
