Project Details

The team conducted a topographic and base line survey and obtained profile and cross-sectional data at regular intervals, including supplemental data at ADA ramps and grade variations. All visible and accessible surface features were surveyed. They obtained inverts, pipe sizes, material type and pipe depths for all drainage structures. Primary survey control was established using GNSS RTN and Leica SmartNET, with differential leveling performed for accuracy. The horizontal control was tied to NAD 83 (Grid) and the vertical control to NAVD 88. A Survey Control Report was prepared, signed, and sealed in accordance with NJDOT Surveying Manual Standard Article 44.

A Digital Terrain Model was created using breaklines and surface points collected in the field. Mapping was delivered in NJDOT-compliant CAD format. Right-of-way lines were incorporated, and all mapping and control reporting adhered to the NJ Map Filing Law and NJDOT Surveying Manual Standards, including Articles 44 and 51.
