Project Details

MFS prepared comprehensive Work Zone Traffic Control (WZTC) plans to facilitate safe and efficient lane closures for construction staging along this active three-lane highway. The plans adhered to NYSDOT standards and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and detailed advanced signage placement, construction drums, barriers, and traffic attenuator equipment. MFS delivered multiple plan submissions, including preliminary, 100%, and final versions.

MFS also developed a detailed crane lifting and rigging plan for the safe removal of the monopole structure and mast. The plan outlined crane location, type, lifting schedules, and rigging specifications. MFS also assisted with the preparation and submission of the NYSDOT Highway Work Permit Application (Form PERM 33), ensuring compliance with state requirements for work performed within highway rights-of-way.
