MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided professional structural engineering services in association with the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) Conshohocken Railroad Station Construction Project in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
The planned construction consisted of the fabrication and installation of a steel canopy structure along the inbound passenger platform, one steel bike shelter, and five steel winds screen panels.
MFS’s structural engineering services included the structural analysis of the steel canopy structure framing connections, ensuring the structural capacities were greater than the design loads provided by the Owner. MFS provided a final calculation report supporting the analysis and reviewed the steel shop drawings for Owner’s review and approval for construction.
